Donuts or Doughnuts?

Our young Sherriff and his trusty dog…um…deputy are on an important mission.  They must carry a box of twelve delicious donuts home.  Whoops!  One looks squished.  Should Sherriff deliver a sub-standard donut?  What should he do?

To find out the answers and see why the Sherriff has powdered sugar on his face, read The Case of the Missing Donut by Alison McGhee.  This new book is visually funny with bright, humorous illustrations that your child will enjoy.

How does a scrumptious doughnut not get eaten by hungry Mr. Bing?  By convincing him to adopt him as a doughnut dog, of course!

In Laurie Keller’s new chapter book series The Adventures of Arnie the Doughnut, we learn from Arnie how his life was transformed once he became a pet and companion to Mr. Bing.  In the premier of Arnie the Doughnut, Bowling Alley Bandit.  Mr. Bing and Arnie go bowling with the Bingbats.  As you might imagine, bowling balls and doughnuts make a dangerously silly combination.
