Staff Picks Wedded to War by Jocelyn Green (Adult Fiction)

Wedded to War by Jocelyn Green

Wedded to War swept me away into a powerful, deep and heartfelt drama. My heart ached for the cast of conflicted characters. This story is brilliantly woven from the fabric of history with characters that pulled at my heart as they endured unimaginable aspects of war. It moved me and marked my heart. This story is meant to be experienced and shared with others. With so much to discuss from cover to cover, it’s a top choice for book clubs!

This book sounds wonderful. I'm always looking for good books about the Civil War time period. Thank you for telling me about this one. I hadn't heard of it before. I'm going to request it from my library since I don't live close enough to request it from yours. :) I love reading your reviews to find more books I want to read.

The Civil War amazes me. How people lived and how the worked differently back then always makes me thinks. As the Great niece of a WWII POW I think that there should be more books like this out there. Thanks for the great review. I can not wait to read it.
