I loved My Name is Lucy Barton, so I couldn't wait to read Anything is Possible, which expounds on Lucy's story. The book takes us back to Amgash, Illinois with interconnected stories that focus on people who were a part of Lucy's life growing up. Characters are flawed, relationships are strained, and daily life sometimes unbearable. But there is always hope at the end of the day. Elizabeth Strout's books are a warm blanket, a cup of tea, and a few tissues for your tears.
