Why did you choose to work in a library?

I was looking for something different after working for 15 years in the mortgage industry. I like helping people, reading books, and being busy. The library is the perfect place.

Describe your job in five words or less.

Busy, fast-paced, flexible

What is unique about your job?

The opportunity to preview new books when they arrive at the branch  

What is your favorite part of your job?

The variety of work

What’s the most interesting place you’ve lived or traveled?

I enjoyed living in Carson City, Nevada and loved touring the Netherlands.

What are your hobbies?

Walking/hiking, reading, traveling, and knitting

 What are you reading right now?

A Time for Mercy by John Grisham

Paper books, eBooks, or audiobooks?

I prefer paper books.
