Fantasy and adventure team up for this suspenseful tale about Matt, a teenage cabin boy, who lives aboard a luxury airship and dreams of becoming an officer. When he meets headstrong Kate, a wealthy passenger, the two become involved in an exciting escapade with pirates and mysterious flying animals on a deserted island. This action packed tale is the selection for the Bookmarks book club for teens in grades 7 and up. This book club meets at the Cumming Library on Thursday, August 27 at 1:00 p.m. and is designed for the schedule of homeschoolers, but all teens available at this time are welcome to attend. Registration is recommended.
