#ShelfLife - March 17, 2017

Happy St. Patrick's Day, booklovers! We had fun seeing all the splashes of color as our green-clad staff and patrons moved around our library branches today.

What a week in the #ShelfLife this was! If ever there was a week to take a nap, it's this one. We marked the return of Daylight Saving Time on Monday with a collection of children's books on napping, as well as a book for adult readers called The Ten Year Nap. You can relate, right?

While we've "sprung forward," Mother Nature apparently got confused and "fell back" on her wintry ways. After enjoying a few weeks of warm and sunny weather, winter came roaring back this week - complete with a few snow flurries around the Hampton Park Library! If you're dreaming about warming yourself in the tropical sun, check out The Corfu Trilogy to hold you over until the warmer days of spring return to us.
