It was short week, thanks to the long Labor Day weekend, but we still managed to find some great books and we have some BIG news: Audiobook narrator Johnny Heller is coming to see us at the Post Road Library next month!

Heller is a 2005 and 2009 Audie Award Winner, a 2014 Nominee for Best Male Narrator, and a winner of over 25 Earphone Awards. Audiofile Magazine named Heller one of the top 50 voices of the 20th Century. His most recent project is an audiobook recording of The Improv: An Oral History of the Comedy Club that Revolutionized Stand-Up by Budd Friedman with Tripp Whetsell and foreword by Jay Leno due out on September 19.

Mark your calendar now as RBdigital presents The Johnny Heller Audiobook Experience on Sunday, October 8 at 3:00 p.m. at the Post Road Library.

Kids in kindergarten through second grade are invited to read MUNCHA! MUNCHA! MUNCHA! by Candace Fleming, play games, and make fun crafts at our Chatterbooks book club. We’ll meet at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28 at the Cumming Library.
