How long have you been at FCPL?

What other jobs have you had at FCPL?
This is my first one at FCPL.
Why did you choose to work in a library?
I love the atmosphere at the library and when my son started first grade I wanted a part-time job that offered some flexibility. So, it was a perfect fit.

Sorting, shelving, processing the courier
What is unique about your job?
I get to know the library collection very well.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Being part of a wonderful team, exposure to all the library’s resources, and the satisfaction of getting things done.
What’s the most interesting place you’ve lived or traveled?
Luray Caverns, Virginia and Niagara Falls.
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy crafting, cooking, listening to music, and watching craft videos. I love reading non-fiction and magazines.
What are you reading right now?
When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi
