🚧 Denmark Library Construction Goes Vertical! 🚧

Grab your hard hat and get ready for a tour of the exciting developments that are happening onsite at the Denmark Library! Things certainly have come a long way since we broke ground in July of 2023. 

Early in the morning on December 19, 2023, the first concrete of the building pad that will be the foundation of the library was poured and smoothed. Pouring concrete in the wee hours ensured that there would be ample time for the concrete to dry out and harden in the shorter winter sunlight hours.

 

The parking lot was also completed in December to make way for the heavy equipment and vehicles transporting the building supplies onto the construction site.

Within a few short weeks, construction of the building had begun with the installation of vertical steel supports and I-beams. January's efforts were focused on erecting steel.

By mid-January the building was really taking shape, and crews were preparing it for the roof decking installation. Changes will be happening quickly, so keep an eye out for more updates on the milestones to come.
