Meet Ashley Mason, FCPL's Latest Library Limelight!

Meet the magnificently memorable Ashley Mason, Information Specialist extraordinaire of the Post Road Library!

Ashley hails from sunny Sacramento, California; we have been fortunate to have her with us for four years. Before becoming an Information Specialist, Ashley's passion for prose led her to serve as a Collection Support Aide. So what drew this literary lady to a life amidst the library stacks?

In Ashley's own lyrical words: "I love books and wanted to do something with my love." How poetic!

When asked to describe her job in five words or fewer, Ashley eloquently stated that she is "giving patrons a memorable experience." Let's hope that rings true for us all! But the thing that Ashley enjoys most about her chosen career is the smile of a satisfied patron after she has helped them find precisely what they need. To Ashley, that grin makes the job worthwhile.

Her all-time favorite book is the classic Arthurian epic The Once and Future King by T.H. White. Ashley enjoys writing her own stories, reading books, and watching cartoons in her free time.
