“Foundation Directory Online is the most comprehensive database on U.S. grantmakers and their grants, so local organizations can search for grants, see trends in giving, and determine which grantmakers are most likely to fund projects in this area,” says Outreach Manager Sarah Reynolds.
In addition to having profiles on more than 140,000 grantmakers, the Foundation Directory Online database includes information on over 12 million grant and funding opportunities.
“This level of detailed and up-to-date information on grant opportunities was previously only available at the Foundation Center’s regional office in Atlanta, or a handful of other institutions scattered across the state,” explains Reynolds.
“Now, local organizations can save themselves a long drive and simply stop by the Cumming Library to search the Foundation Directory Online database and quickly get to work on submitting their applications,” Reynolds adds.
To begin using the database, visit the Cumming Library at 585 Dahlonega Street, Cumming.
