ATLAS - At The Library After School - Traveling Through History at Sharon Forks Library

The school year is underway which means the return of ATLAS (AThe Library After School) at the Sharon Forks branch. This program gives our elementary-aged children the opportunity to explore and learn about different topics any time they are at the library through hands-on activities.
Last year we traveled across the globe through all of the continents. This year we will be traveling through 6 different time periods in history, Magic Tree House style! Each month will take us to a new time period, starting with the Middle Ages. We will explore each time period through scavenger hunts, craft projects, and educational activities. Different activities are added throughout the month and will stay available until the end of the current month. A magic book at the Ask Us desk in the Children's area details where we have traveled for the current month, and a timeline keeps track of where we have been throughout the year.

Visit Sharon Forks Library each month to explore with ATLAS and find out what time period we have traveled to. Take a peek below at our travels through the Middle Ages in September.
