Summer Reading was Simply Super!

July 31 marked the last day of our Summer Reading Fun program. It was special time for all our patrons to discover that every hero has a story and to celebrate superheroes of all kinds.

Across age groups, we had 5,943 patrons register to participate in the summer reading program. Those patrons read 58,969 books!

This was an adventurous summer season and our staff planned about 500 events in June and July for babies, children, teens, and adults. A grand total of 21,658 patrons attended those programs.
