What’s worse, disorganized work and living spaces keep Rogers’ clients from handling everyday tasks with efficiency so they can get on with enjoying life. In an effort to help more people lead a better organized life, Rogers wrote a book.
A Simplified Life: How To Achieve Order and Calm So You Can Reclaim Time, Energy and Control is a guidebook that helps readers understand the costs of being disorganized, how to find professional help, and how to instill and maintain order in home, work, and life.
“A Simplified Life was written for anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed, stressed, chaotic or just plain tired - in other words, just about everyone. Whether you have trouble finding your keys, getting to places on time, or have too much stuff and too little time to deal with it, this book will help you,” says Rogers.
A Simplified Life launches this month, and after an official launch party in Atlanta on Saturday night, Rogers will visit the Cumming Library at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 28. Rogers will explain her principles of organization and sign copies of her book.
Rogers has been open about the process of learning to write a book and shared her experience on her company’s blog. She is also scheduled to share her experiences as a new writer on the Emerging Author Stage at the AJC Decatur Book Festival on September 3.
Copies of A Simplified Life have been added to the library’s collection and more copies are expected to be available for purchase at Sunday’s event. Books can also be ordered online and will soon be stocked on Amazon.com.
