Forsyth Libraries Offer Family Pass to Michael C. Carlos Museum

Thanks to a new partnership between the Michael C. Carlos Museum and Georgia Public Library Service, Forsyth families can check out a free family pass to visit one of the most revered institutions in the state.

Renowned for its collections of art from Egypt, the Near East, Greece, Rome, Africa, the Americas, and Asia, as well as works on paper from the Renaissance to the present, the Michael C. Carlos Museum on the campus of Atlanta's Emory University is providing every public library in Georgia with a pass that is valid for up to six free admissions - a potential savings of $48 per family.

All four branches of the Forsyth County Public Library have one Family Pass to check out to Library cardholders, just as you would a book or DVD.

Carlos Museum Family Passes are available for a 7-day lending period and patrons should present the Family Pass at the Museum just as you would normally use a ticket. The Family Pass is good for free admission for up to six people. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult. The Family Pass must be returned to the library from which it was borrowed within the 7-day lending period.

To check out the Carlos Museum Family Pass, please inquire at the Ask Us desk at any Forsyth County Public Library branch.
