Amber quickly endears herself to the current Mrs. Parrish with an elaborate web of lies and then cultivates her friendship with the handsome Mr. Parrish and the couple’s two young daughters. You’ll be rooting against her but fascinated by the sneaky tactics Amber uses to interject herself in what she sees as a fairy tale life. The Last Mrs. Parrish is a deliciously wicked summer read for fans of soap opera level backstabbing and plotting revenge. It’s a book I couldn’t put down.
