November is National Novel Writing Month

Each November thousands of aspiring authors around the world challenge themselves to write 50,000 words of a novel as part of National Novel Writing Month. National Novel Writing Month began in 1999 and in 2006 became a nonprofit organization that supports writing fluency and education. Bestselling books like The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, Wool by Hugh Howey, Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, and Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell all began as National Novel Writing Month projects.
