At the August 6, 2020 meeting of the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners, Forsyth County's delegation to the state legislature presented a $2 million ceremonial check to Forsyth County Public Library. The funding comes from a state construction grant and will be added to funds from SPLOST 8 to finance the Fowler Road Library, which is expected to enter the planning and design phase in 2021.
