FCPL Reads 2022 - July Goal

We're almost halfway through the year! Are you working on your FCPL Reads 2022 goals? Here's the next reading goal to inspire you to Read Something New (to You!) in 2022!

The reading goal for July is to read a book featuring a character with differing abilities!

Not sure where to start? Check out our One World: Exploring Our Differences book list or ask your librarian to recommend a title.

We’ll provide reading lists of suggested titles for each month’s goal or ask a librarian for a book recommendation.

Want to know what we're reading?

Stephani, Youth Specialist at Sharon Forks Library, read The Words in My Hands by Asphyxia.
This dystopian title from our Teen High collection features an Australian girl who is deaf and learns Auslan (Australian Sign Language). Check out this title to experience the unique combination of print and mixed media images.

You can find the other reading goals on our website. New this year: we’ve created a two-sided paper tracker (including a cute coloring page!) you can print out to help you follow along and log your reading. You can also register for this program in Beanstack and track your reading goals online.

Tell us what you're reading in the comments below or tag us on social media @forsythpl with the hashtags #FCPLreads2022 and #WeKnowBooks.

Happy Reading!
