Happiness looks different to everyone, and this month at FCPL, we have captured what happiness looks like to our community through our “Capture Your Happiness” amateur photography exhibit.
From the love of family to the marvels of nature, sixteen patrons and staff members submitted a total of 25 photographs expressing their own happiness. The theme is “Happiness Is…” and each photo has a title that expresses what happiness is to the photographer. Some are heartfelt; some are humorous; all are beautiful! These photos have been displayed physically in the Hampton Park branch and will be up through the end of February. They have also been added digitally to the Adults page of the FCPL website under “Photo Exhibit - Capture Your Happiness.” Each photograph will receive feedback from a pair of experienced photographers. The staff at Hampton Park have reported that patrons have really been enjoying the exhibit, and some who missed the opportunity to contribute this year, are looking forward to the possibility of participating next year. If you get the chance, stop by Hampton Park and browse all of the striking photographs. They are best enjoyed in person!
