FCPL Reads 2022 - February Goal

Are you working towards your goals for FCPL Reads 2022? Here's the second reading goal to inspire you to Read Something New (to You!) in 2022!

The reading goal for February is to read a book by a Black author in honor of Black History Month.

We have many titles written by brilliant Black authors in all of our collections! Not sure where to start? Check out our curated book lists for adultsteens, and kids or ask your librarian to recommend a title. We’ll provide reading lists of suggested titles for each month’s goal (April - December coming soon!) or ask a librarian for a book recommendation.

Want to know what we're reading? Jeanne, Information Specialist at Sharon Forks Library, is delving into The Personal Librarian by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murrary.

You can find the other reading goals on our website. New this year: we’ve created a two-sided paper tracker (including a cute coloring page!) you can print out to help you follow along and log your reading. You can also register for this program in Beanstack and track your reading goals online.

Tell us what you're reading in the comments below or tag us on social media with the hashtags #FCPLreads2022 and #WeKnowBooks.

Happy Reading!
