Hello, neighbor! We’re so glad you’re curious about the new Denmark Library. Since opening our doors last spring, we’ve become more than just a library—we’re a 9.5-acre retreat designed to inspire.

With a building that spans 22,500 square feet of nature-inspired architecture, the Denmark Library campus features:
  • Ultimate Convenience: Use our drive-up window for quick holds.

  • Creative Spaces: Explore the outdoor story stroll and educational areas.

  • Work & Study: Book one of our modern study rooms.

  • Relaxation: There is not a bad seat in the house! Stop in and enjoy the comfortable seating and stunning views.

Youth and Family Programming

  • Early Childhood: Caregivers and their little ones can enjoy bonding time during Books & Babies and Toddler Tales. For more hands-on engagement, the Preschool Learning Lab and Family Fun Fridays offer creative play and STEM activities.

  • Students and Teens: Elementary-aged children can embark on a choose-your-own-adventure with the Organ Trail, while teenagers can engage in Puzzle Madness or design their own Keychains.

  • Community Events: Join us for inclusive experiences like our festive Eid Celebration, the whimsical Magical Bubble Adventure, or a relaxing session of Paws to Read with therapy dogs.

Adult Workshops and Socials

Our adult calendar features a diverse range of interests. Sharpen your professional or personal skills with workshops on Conversational English and Taxes in Retirement. For social connection, participate in our Grown-Up Game Night or join the Denmark Drafts writing group. Additionally, the new Heritage Hunters Genealogy Club meets monthly to explore research strategies and family history—just bring your laptop and your family tree!

Cultural Exploration

Take a walk through history with our Story Stroll, which currently highlights the Silk Road. Inside, you can delve into global tea culture. Every two weeks through mid-May, we will feature a different region, providing cultural information and a tea sample for you to enjoy at home.

Visit the Denmark Library this spring to meet your neighbors, find a new passion, and see all that we have to offer!
