Advance registration for Forsyth County Public Library’s annual Summer Reading Fun program begins this month. Participants of all ages can register to participate online now at https://forsythpl.beanstack.org and begin earning points for reading and activities beginning May 22.
The theme for this year’s Summer Reading Fun program is “Imagine Your Story.”
Based on current recommendations for social distancing in the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Summer Reading Fun will take place online only. Participants will track reading and activities online or in the Beanstack app and programs will be presented online throughout the summer for patrons of all ages.

Library patrons can register to participate in Summer Reading Fun now through July 31.
Earn Points May 22 – July 31
Summer Reading Fun participants can and use the Beanstack app for Apple or Android devices to track books read, activities completed, and badges earned beginning May 22.
The Beanstack app allows participants to see how many points they’ve earned to redeem for prizes later in the summer.
Paper logs are available upon request.
Earn 500 Points to Claim a Prize
Summer Reading Fun Participants who earn 500 or more points will earn prizes, including a window decal and treats from local sponsors.
Instructions for picking up prizes will be provided directly to participants once they’ve earned 500 points.
